A departmental event entitled “Occupational Therapy and Department Talk with Academicians” was held by Çankırı Karatekin University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Occupational Therapy on May 18, 2026. The event was organized to support the professional development processes of occupational therapy students, strengthen academic and social interaction between department faculty members and students, and enhance experience sharing regarding the occupational therapy profession.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ceyhun Türkmen, Assist. Dr. İlkem Ceren Sığırtmaç, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Ayşenur Karakuş contributed to the event as speakers, and Prof. Dr. Özcan Özkan, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, also attended the event. Within the scope of the talk, current developments in the occupational therapy profession, departmental experiences, academic processes, career planning, professional motivation, communication, and social participation were discussed with students through mutual interaction.
